Double J Saddlery, uses right combination of the very best in raw materials, innovative design, and a strong dedication to quality, to produce this professionally designed barrel saddle. The heart of every saddle is a properly designed saddle tree, wide enough to fit the stouter, cattier barrel horse of today. Saddle trees are designed with enough gullet height to accommodate most horses with a thoroughbred influence (and higher, narrower whithers). Unlike most modern production, Double J saddles are made by hand from start to finish in Yokum Texas. This ensures that each saddle is made perfectly and there are no imperfections. Research shows that wool felt pads provide the best compression protection. Paired with a properly fitting saddle these pads will offer that close contact feel.
